Last night, Nicky was grabbing at his butt after we’d put his pajamas on. Chuck asked him if something was wrong with his butt and he said yes. Chuck asked what was wrong, and Nicky said, “It has a crack in it!” I couldn’t help but laugh.

Nicky really has been lots of fun so far this season and I wanted to document some of the funny things he says and does so that I can remember them. We’ve been missing “Michael”, one of the Little People, from the Fisher Price birthday party set for a long time now – it [...] We had some things to take to our parents before Christmas, so today we decided to drive to Buffalo and drop it off. Thank goodness it took longer than planned (big surprise) for us to get out the door because there was a huge accident on the Thruway, backing up traffic for several miles [...] We had a really wonderful holiday with so much to be thankful for! We are very, very blessed to have such beautiful family in so many ways – when we asked Nicky what he’s thankful for, his answer was, “You’re thankful for Ryan!” (he refers to himself as “you”). Life doesn’t get any better [...] Nicky has a few things that he really can’t get enough of these days; I wanted to make sure that we document his latest obsessions. Uno (for preschoolers) SpongeBob Memory his yellow SpongeBob t-shirt his fun socks (snowmen, chicks, and tie-dyed) the Mommy book The Giving Tree carrots marshmallows his red jogging pants Where [...] Today was the first time I had to take both boys out by myself. It wasn’t bad at all! I went over the rules with Nicky before we left and he was very good. Our big boy is now 12 pounds and 23 and 1/2 inches long! I checked back at Nicky’s stats for [...] Last Monday, we took Ryan and Nicky to JC Penney to have photos taken for Ryan’s birth announcements. Here are the photos – they turned out beautifully! Nicky’s always had a really great vocabulary, and he’s been really good at pronouncing most words. For a while, he’s said “eph-e-ment” instead of elephant and I kept telling Chuck not to correct him because it’s so sweet and he’d figure it out on his own eventually. He sure did; those moments are gone [...] We haven’t had a chance to blog about our new family yet – so far, we’re doing well! Nicky is the best big brother anyone could ask for! He loves Ryan; he loves to check on him and look at him and hold him and kiss him. It’s really, really sweet to watch.
