A fun link from my Grandma and Grandpa! We’re reading Where the Sidewalk Ends, by Shel Silverstein, and came upon this great poem: THUMBS Oh the thumb-sucker’s thumb May look wrinkled and wet And withered, and white as the snow, But the taste of a thumb Is the sweetest taste yet (As only we thumb-suckers know). They stayed for a little bit and we all caught up while Nicky fussed a little bit, but we had a great time! We had a busy weekend! For the first time, we took Nicky to Buffalo to see the family. He was really good for the car ride…he slept up until about 20 minutes before we arrived at Chuck’s parents’ house and only cried a little bit. We visited with Grandma Chris, Grandpa Mike and Aunt [...] |
