Why does the first day I go back to work have to be a freakin’ BLIZZARD?!? Chuck left work at 3:45 and didn’t get home until about 4:40 (it usually takes him about 25 minutes), and I left immediately and got to work at 5:15 (it also takes me about 25 minutes). The roads were just awful! It was a white-out on most of Route 31; thank goodness I don’t take that very far. At least by the time I left work, the conditions were much better, but now the wind has picked up again.
It was a rough day at Wally World…there was only one pharmacist for the whole day! On a Monday, that is horrible, especially on the first Monday of the month. I just did the best I could, and we hit over 400, which is way too much for just one pharmacist. Chuck and I VERY quickly reevaluated the situation and decided that the rushing around is not worth the extra stress. I’ll finish December for the hours I said I would, but then in January, I’ll work Mondays 5-9 and we’ll just need to be more careful about our spending. I think that will be pretty easy to do! And definitely worth it…my heart ached without my Nicky. This is the longest I’ve been away from him ever!
Off to bed! (If I can sleep with the noise from the wind!)
