Merry Christmas!

Here is a link to Nicky’s Christmas photos.

I feel truly blessed every day and give thanks during the holiday season for my family and friends.  I have everything I’ve ever wanted in my life.

Merry Christmas, everyone!

Learning

Nicky has starting pointing out letters in various places, other than his puzzle; for instance, on my RIT sweatshirt, he pointed out the R and the T yesterday!  Today, Chuck was wearing and Izod pullover and Nicky pointed out the Z, O and D.  He’s picking up so much so quickly!

He’s also learning [...]

Changing

At his last doctor’s appointment, Nicky had two vaccinations that he hasn’t had yet; the chickenpox one and the MMR.  The pediatrician told me that a rash and/or a fever commonly occur about a week after.  On Monday, exactly one week after the shots, nothing happened, so I thought we were in the clear.  [...]

Some new photos

Nicky updates

We had Nicky’s 15-month pediatrician visit on Monday.  He weighed 22 pounds, 3 ounces (but he was wearing a diaper, so probably only 22 pounds even) and measured 32.5 inches long.  He always measures longer at the doctor’s office, though; I think their squishy mat that he lays on adds height.  We measured him [...]
