Today was the first time I had to take both boys out by myself. It wasn’t bad at all! I went over the rules with Nicky before we left and he was very good. Our big boy is now 12 pounds and 23 and 1/2 inches long! I checked back at Nicky’s stats for [...] Last Monday, we took Ryan and Nicky to JC Penney to have photos taken for Ryan’s birth announcements. Here are the photos – they turned out beautifully! Ryan measured 22 and 1/2 inches at birth; Chuck didn’t think it was right because the tape broke while the nurse was measuring him and she put it back together (maybe overlapping) before coming up with her measurement. He wanted to ask her to remeasure but didn’t want to be rude. This morning, at [...] Here is a link to Ryan’s page in the web nursery. Not his best photo, but still cute! Nicky’s always had a really great vocabulary, and he’s been really good at pronouncing most words. For a while, he’s said “eph-e-ment” instead of elephant and I kept telling Chuck not to correct him because it’s so sweet and he’d figure it out on his own eventually. He sure did; those moments are gone [...] We haven’t had a chance to blog about our new family yet – so far, we’re doing well! Nicky is the best big brother anyone could ask for! He loves Ryan; he loves to check on him and look at him and hold him and kiss him. It’s really, really sweet to watch.
