Nicky had his 4 month doctor visit today. He did so well! Here are the numbers:
- Height: 28in
- Weight: 17lbs. 10oz.
He’s in the 80th percentile for his weight, the 100th percentile for his height, and the 50th percentile for his head size. Looks like he’s going to be a tall one!
We also discussed with the doctor if we should be starting him on solid foods. She said anytime between now and 6 months is a good time to start. However, since he seems to be doing so well on just breast milk at this point, there is no point in starting solids on him yet. She said that if he wakes up in the night, then it means he must not be satisfied with his food and we should start him on some iron-fortified rice cereal. Jen and I were both happy to hear that the doctor agreed with what we thought.
