Jen, our friend Braden, his friend Dan, and I went to the Brad Paisley concert this past Friday at Darien Lake. Braden’s wife Amber couldn’t go since she was in Miami, FL for a bachelorette party, but we had a good time nonetheless. Taylor Swift was supposed to sing, but was sick. :( We still got to see Jack Ingram, Kellie Pickler, and of course, Brad Paisley. It rained at first for a short while, and since we were in the lawn “seating” section, we stopped at Wal-Mart in Batavia and picked up some ponchos to keep dry. The music was great, the drunk rednecks were everywhere in the audience, and I can’t believe how many people still smoke. That was the worst part of the whole thing. That and the lines for the bathroom.
On another note, Jen and I have been playing lots of Mario Party 8. It’s a great game no matter what those game review websites say. We had Braden and Amber over to play and they had a great time as well. Our schedule for our days off consists of sleeping, eating, Mario Party, bathroom breaks, and more Mario Party.
