On Friday, I had my 34-week doctor’s visit. I gained another 5.5 pounds, ALL WATER WEIGHT my doctor assured me! You can definitely tell…my poor feet and ankles are so swollen! 
Otherwise, everything is well. Baby is still in the right position and blood pressure’s good. Because of the swelling, though, my doctor recommended that I purchase a maternity belt, which I bought on my way home from the visit. She said it would be uncomfortable for the first day or two, but after that it would help with the swelling and back pain because it would lift the baby off my spine and veins. I started wearing it on Friday night, then a little bit more on Saturday and I’ve got it again today. We’ll see how I feel after I get out of work at 9pm!
My family threw me a beautiful baby shower yesterday! Everything was incredible…we went to Sean Patrick’s and the staff was wonderful! We had punch and brunch…delicious! Of course, we had a Darren cake complete with Baby Snoopy, which was ADORABLE and YUMMY! And I got lots of wonderful gifts for Baby! We started to organize some things last night when we got home, but there’s still lots to do! I’ll post some shower photos and hopefully some nursery photos once we’re more organized!
