Everything’s fine…the ultrasound showed a BIG, healthy baby and healthy placenta. (I posted the two photos we got – there’s not much to see.) The non-stress test went fine, as well…Baby didn’t move very much at first, so we had to poke some movement out of him/her, but everything shows that I’m still growing a healthy baby that just doesn’t want to get born yet.
I’ve got a follow-up appointment with the doctor (not sure which one) on Monday morning, and I also scheduled another non-stress test for Monday afternoon. Seems to me that we’re just going to hang out and make sure Baby’s still okay and I’m assuming they’re looking at inducing me at the end of the week. I really don’t want to go that route, but I don’t see much of a choice at this point. Chuck and I will be taking a nice, long walk again tonight. And tomorrow, and the next day…
