I am madly in love with the hand blender that Chuck bought for me for my birthday! I want to puree everything in the world! Last night, Chuck and I made our own butternut squash bisque; we used the pureed butternut squash from a couple of days ago and added pureed red potatoes (the [...] Stacy and I treated ourselves yesterday at the Delmonte Spa in Pittsford. We left our husbands with the babies at Stacy’s house while I had a facial, manicure and pedicure and Stacy got a facial, massage and manicure. Now I feel beautiful and ready to greet the big 3-0 in style! ! Afterward, we [...] Yesterday was my last day working at Wal-Mart. I’ve worked for the company for 8 and 1/2 years, and at the Brockport store for almost 2 years, helping to open the new SuperCenter that opened last year. I’m sad; it was really my second home and I love everyone with whom I worked. On [...] I found this on the M&M’s site yesterday. Fun to do, but I liked the Simpsons website better because it worked from a photo, whereas I just designed my own character at this site.
I’d, of course, be made of dark chocolate! It was 65 degrees this afternoon! Nicky and I took a short walk and had a nice time! I forgot what that weather feels like, and I’ll forget again soon, since it’s supposed to get cold again by the weekend. After, it’s still January! Chuck and I started watching Journeyman on NBC this season, and we were completely hooked from the first episode. We thought it was going to be a knock-off of Quantum Leap, but it really wasn’t. With the holiday, we got a little bit behind and had three episodes saved up on TiVo that we [...] I’m stewing right now; we tried so hard to be on top of things! Chuck set the alarm half an hour early this morning so that he could get up and beat the traffic and make it to work on time and safely. Sometimes, when we do that, the alarm doesn’t go off the [...] Robin sent me this via e-mail…it’s very sweet! Chuck is still at RIT right now; he’s playing volleyball. Since he works until 6 and the tournament started at 8, there was no sense driving home for dinner, especially with the yucky weather. So, Nicky and I had the whole day together!
