Yesterday was my last day working at Wal-Mart. I’ve worked for the company for 8 and 1/2 years, and at the Brockport store for almost 2 years, helping to open the new SuperCenter that opened last year. I’m sad; it was really my second home and I love everyone with whom I worked.
On the bright side of things, I start my new job at Wegmans tomorrow. I’ll be working Mondays 5pm-9pm and Saturdays 7:30am-3:30pm, which is just PERFECT for our family! I’ll be working at the store that’s five minutes from our house, so Chuck will bring Nicky in during my lunch break on Saturdays so that I can nurse him while Chuck shops. Everyone I’ll be working with has been very welcoming and seems happy to have me, so I’m excited for the new job to start!
