Chuck made these turkey burgers tonight – they were super easy! We didn’t use the mayonnaise recipe, just the burgers, and they were still very gourmet, especially after we served them on bread because we didn’t have buns. Very, very tasty, and we’ll definitely make them again!

The waiting room was actually the bulk of this visit; we were there for almost 45 minutes before my name was called! Nicky was starting to get antsy, and I didn’t want to get involved in anything new because I kept thinking we’d be the next ones called. Sheesh…next time, I’ll bring more to [...] Yesterday, Chuck and I celebrated seven years of wedded bliss! It would probably take at least seven more for us to count all of our blessings since then. Today we went next door to celebrate Rylie’s second birthday! A little girl at the party told me, “I like your belly”! How cute! Jerry made a short video from his and Jessica’s honeymoon. Stacy and Riley came over earlier this week and Stacy mentioned Pineway Ponds Park to me – what fun! They have a nice playground, and they also have a water park with sprinklers. Margaret and I took Parker and Nicky today and had a blast – we’ll definitely go back! Nicky and I went to see Dr. Kerpelman for my 28-week OB visit. It was pretty uneventful; my glucose test was negative, so I don’t have gestational diabetes. My blood pressure was good, and we heard the baby’s heartbeat. I’ve gained about 35 pounds, yikes, but I’m trying not to freak out about it [...] Nicky has been napping regularly in the big-boy bed for about a week now. He’s asked a couple of times to sleep there at night, too, but he’s backed out at the last minute. Last night, he was crystal clear that that’s where he wanted to sleep, so we let him and he didn’t [...] We had the very best day yesterday! We all slept in a little bit and had a relaxing morning around the house, then went to Michelle and and David’s house on Grand Island for a picnic in their backyard (right on the water – gorgeous!).
