The end of the swaddling era

Over the past two nights, we’ve learned that Nicky is done being swaddled at night.  Thank goodness, because he’s even outgrowing the larger blanket we bought for him and we weren’t sure what to do next!  He falls asleep fine on his own, like he usually does, but he wakes up and wants his thumb, which he can’t get when he’s swaddled.  He woke up in the night the past two nights, but Chuck got up with him and said that his diaper was really full both times.  So, tonight, we’ll just put him down with a bigger diaper and hope for good things!
