Nicky did really well last night! No swaddle and a bigger diaper, just like we planned, and he slept from about 9:45pm until about 7:45 this morning! I woke up a few times in the night waiting for him! His mojo is back, thank goodness.
We went to JC Penney today to get Christmas photos taken. I thought I did everything right; I didn’t put his outfit on until the last possible second, I fed him about an hour before we had to be there, changed his diaper right before we left, and I had let him nap pretty much all morning, so he was rested. He was smiling at everyone in the waiting room, but once we got into the studio, he started crying. I was kind of disappointed, but the photos turned out all right. Don’t you know, we weren’t even out of the store yet and he was smiling again and has been since we got home. I guess that’s how baby pictures go.
