Because Nicky’s rolling around in his crib so much, Chuck asked me to remove the bumpers. I did that, and Nicky went to sleep for about 5 minutes and woke up very unhappy, so I went in to rub his tummy for a bit. He rolled over and put his foot right through the side of the crib and got his chubby little thigh stuck in there. I wasn’t sure if he was upset because the view was different from his crib or if it was the teething pain again, so I put the bumpers back in (after I removed his leg!). He still cried for a while, though, so we ended up giving him some Tylenol. It took a while for it to kick in, because he was still up and down for probably another hour and a half or so, but he finally went to sleep for the night around 11:30 and I had to go in there and wake him up at 9:00 this morning! I’ll be very happy when the teething phase has passed, and I know he will, too! I’ll probably leave the bumpers in tonight and then try to remove them again tomorrow night and see how it goes.
