I tried a few new recipes this week. Two vegetable sides were from a recipe book sent to me by Eileen from the Air Force Spouses’ Club. The corn casserole was super-easy and tasty (as it should have been, with half a cup of soy butter!) and the carrot casserole was good as well. Yesterday, I made this dessert. Nicky, of course, didn’t like it because it was chocolate, and somehow I managed to make a child that doesn’t like chocolate. Chuck and I liked it, though, and I’d probably make it again for a better-for-you dessert that is a little different.
