So many options for the title of this post…I was lying in bed this morning thinking of writing a blog post and entitling it “Starving” when the phone rang. One of the nurses from the hospital was calling to ask if we could come in early. She said that the doctor was ready and as soon as we could get there, we’d get right in. How happy was I? I could eat sooner (number one!) and we wouldn’t have to think about it all day. So, Chuck and I flew out of bed and I got into the shower when I heard Chuck answer the phone and say “Okay, I’ll tell her.” Turns out, the nurse called the wrong person! They wanted to move up someone else’s c-section! I’m fine now, but what a rush!
At least now I’ve got some time for laundry and vacuuming so that house is all nice when we get back. Off to do that for now! Pregnancy Jen, OUT!
