It’s official…it’s August 29th, the day our baby will be born! I’ve eaten my last decent meal for at least a couple of days; Chuck and I went to Olives Greek Taverna for dinner on Aunt Patty and Uncle Bob’s recommendation. It was very good! We stopped at The Cheesecake Factory for dessert. Neither one of us could finish our cakes, even though they were great! I just finished eating at exactly midnight…an apple and a glass of water, just to tide me over. Who tells a pregnant lady she can’t eat?!?!
This was the nicest thing…I was so happy to hear from Dr. Kerpelman today! She called to check on me, since I haven’t been able to see her for the last few weeks. She wanted to make sure that I felt comfortable with the procedure, answer any questions and tell me that she’ll be on Thursday to check on me. As if that wasn’t great enough, Dr. Gabel called me at 9:00 tonight to go over the procedure again and see if I had any further questions. Both of them really helped to put my mind at ease. Not sure if it’s enough to get me to sleep tonight, though. I’m kind of wired. We’ll see…
