Last night, we had a big adventure. We couldn’t decide how late to keep Nicky up, if we should try to keep him up…well, he decided for us. From about 7:30 pm until about 1:30 am, he pretty much did not stop eating! I didn’t think it was possible and I was proven wrong. He took little breaks here and there (the longest one was a whole hour!), and after about 5 hours, Chuck called the nurse at the hospital to see if there was anything we could do to get me a break because he was worried about my resting and recovery. She told him that using a pacifier would be perfectly acceptable to use and it wouldn’t cause us problems later. I was really determined not to let it get that far though; I was convinced that he had to stop eating at some point, and if we saw it through, he’d probably sleep pretty well. Turned out, I was right! When we finally went to sleep, he didn’t wake us up until 6:30 am! That’s FIVE HOURS of uninterrupted sleep IN A ROW! Ahhhhhh…
