Our friends brought us dinner last night…subs from Wegmans along with soup, chips and cookies for dessert. They stayed for a while so that Kris and Paul could play Carnival on the Wii. Thanks for everything, guys and girls! Next time, it’s our treat! Our master bathroom is done! It is beautiful! We worked with Rees & Company and we’re very pleased with the results! The walls and ceiling have a fresh coat of paint, and the fixtures have all been put up. We’ve posted the photos on our website here. Now I’m going to shower for the [...] I didn’t actually RSVP to Stacy about going to her baby shower until yesterday (only planning things in 24-hour increments now). But, no baby, so off I went. Her shower was at Da Vinci of Greece, which was excellent! The food was very yummy…I wanted to have the eggplant parmigiana, since many years [...] It’s just shy of 1 am and Chuck is finishing up on the first coat of paint in the bathroom. Turns out I’m not as much help as I thought I’d be. Once I’m down on the floor, getting up is a big pain. I can’t reach very far, I don’t feel confident on [...] Chuck and I (okay, mostly Chuck) cleaned up the bathroom this afternoon, prepping it for painting. We emptied it out, took off the switch covers and such, cleaned the walls and Chuck’s now taping around the baseboards. The contractors with Lowe’s didn’t think that they were going to have our front door fixed before the end of the month, so it was a wonderful surprise that they were able to come out this morning fit us into [...] We got an e-mail with some photos from Chuck’s class reunion a couple of weeks ago…I picked out the ones with us in them and posted them to the photo website…check ‘em out here! Just a quick post to say that the photo section of our website is back up and running. I hate comment spam… |
