Chuck and I (okay, mostly Chuck) cleaned up the bathroom this afternoon, prepping it for painting. We emptied it out, took off the switch covers and such, cleaned the walls and Chuck’s now taping around the baseboards. It’s kind of a small space, so we couldn’t really both be in there at the same time. No worries for me…I cleaned out some of the window sills, cleaned the mini blinds in our bedroom, vacuumed, cleaned the guest bathroom and did some laundry.
Note: This is not nesting! This is typical practice around here…we’re weird and like to clean sometimes!
We’re headed to Kris and Ang’s house for dinner, then we’ll probably put up the first coat of paint when we get home, if we’re not too pooped.
Tomorrow, Chuck’s going to play in a volleyball tournament and I’m going to Stacy’s baby shower, and I’m hoping we can get the second coat of paint up in the bathroom so that we can completely start using our bathroom on Monday. That way, I can get the guest bathroom clean so that when my mother comes to stay here, she has a nice, clean bathroom all to herself.
Keeping ourselves busy, that’s for sure!
