Chuck took the day off from work today so that he could join Nicky and me for our anatomical ultrasound this morning. When we went for the same thing when I was pregnant with Nicky, they only had the little monitor to look at, so I was on my back and really uncomfortable with [...]
I went a little bit early this month for my visit, but the date worked out well for us. Everything was good; we heard a strong heartbeat again and that’s all I really need right now. Apparently, it’s normal that I’m huge already and it doesn’t mean that I’ll be having a 15-pound baby, [...]
It’s time I finally got back on track with my posting; I haven’t been feeling well lately and have stopped blogging fir a while. I think I’m ready to continue the Gruener saga and announce, for those of you who don’t know yet – Chuck and I are expecting another baby in September!
I’m [...]
Nope, not to eat; he still only drinks breastmilk. But he LOVES to blow raspberries! It’s really cute, and we were blowing them at each other this morning.
Now I have to feed Nicky, so that’s all I have to say about that!
He’s here and he’s beautiful! Born on August 29th, 2007 at 4:02PM. Weighing in at 9 lbs. 9 oz. and at a length of 21.25 inches, he certainly lived up to our expectations of being of a big baby. Here’s the first photo we have of him, taken with our cell phone camera.
So many options for the title of this post…I was lying in bed this morning thinking of writing a blog post and entitling it “Starving” when the phone rang. One of the nurses from the hospital was calling to ask if we could come in early. She said that the doctor was ready and [...]
It’s official…it’s August 29th, the day our baby will be born! I’ve eaten my last decent meal for at least a couple of days; Chuck and I went to Olives Greek Taverna for dinner on Aunt Patty and Uncle Bob’s recommendation. It was very good! We stopped at The Cheesecake Factory for dessert. Neither [...]
Okay, here’s the latest and greatest…
I’m growing a very large baby, probably over ten pounds by now, by the looks of the ultrasound I had on Thursday. Dr. Gabel is concerned because the numbers on the ultrasound show a possibly disproportionate baby, meaning the shoulders and abdomen might be large and he’s afraid [...]
Everything’s fine…the ultrasound showed a BIG, healthy baby and healthy placenta. (I posted the two photos we got – there’s not much to see.) The non-stress test went fine, as well…Baby didn’t move very much at first, so we had to poke some movement out of him/her, but everything shows that I’m still growing [...]
